Errm... every MacBook Pro since 2012 has been equiped with an SSD, and I''ve never seen or heard anyone complain about a disk going dead because of overuse. Why would this suddenly be an issue now? Don't create a problem if it isn't there...

Just did a quick check: already in 2016 there was research done in Google's data centers on 100s of SSD drives, showing that even there (and you bet they are heavily used) only 4% of drives needed to be replaced after 4 years.
