I was just wondering yesterday, being a Python user outside the data science area, why you would use (Ana)Conda knowing that pip and venv are much more commonly used? Are there packages in there that are not available in a convenient way elsewhere? Or just something that grew over time because someone personally favoured Conda and affected others?
