Not a bad article, but as so often already after the second paragraph I get the feeling it is written from the point of view that America is the center of the world. Does the author, and his source, realise that a lot of research into vaccins and medication have been ongoing in China and Europe also? It’s not necessary to rely on American institutions with a ‘late start’ entirely — protectionism is not supposed to be an issue in times like this.
