Ok... you start off on the wrong foot already. I have a couple of pre 2015 laptops here that are in the $500 range and that still run perfectly without any of the issues you mention.

Then, the only real problem I see with the Macbook is the heat pipe. The keyboard problem was solved in the end (every company makes mistakes, even Apple - don't forget it's the bubble of the stock market that makes it worth a trillion dollars, not the company itself), and the rest is more a matter of taste and personal experience.

Bottom line - the heat pipe is a tricky issue (and probably a stupid choice from technical perspective), but you could've limited yourself to that instead of blowing this up to something it isn't.
